Brazing Synthetic Diamond Tips to Saw Blades |
|
A customer had an application to apply synthetic diamond tips to a saw blade. We created a process that is simple to use and cost effective for the customer. The station is completely self contained with built in induction heater, coolant pump, flux applicator, work light and operator control. |

Brazing Synthetic Diamond Tips to Carbide Drills |

The machine is easy to use with quick setup of different style, length and diameter of tools. The machine is equipped with induction heater, coolant system and fully integrated controls. |
This application required the synthetic diamond tip to be brazed to the carbide shaft. These tools are used in very high temperature applications. We applied our fluxless brazing technique (left) to this application allowing the brazing process to be done in a gas environment. A high temperature braze tape is used so that there is no separation of product in even the most harsh drilling application. Temperature control (bottom) is achieved using a specially adapted pyrometer system developed by Braze Solutions for small spot heating applications. |

Fully Automatic Multi Part Brazing |

A customer approached us with a brand new product that has never been manufactured. The process involves four small parts to be placed into a plate and brazed simultaneously. The machine is equipped with auto part loading, robotic pick and place, robotic discharge, integrated induction heating and easy to use operator interface. We designed and built the machine at its location with full startup and support provided in-house. |
